Nathaniel - 10 Months Old

The sweetest baby in the world is 10 months old now. I can't believe my little guy is going to be 1 in less than 2 months!

Nathaniel is 19 pounds, 4 ounces.  Still so small! He's in the 10th percentile for weight. He can still wear some 0-3 month clothes, but primarily wears 3-6 months.

He has gone from 1 meal a day of solids to 2.  His favorites seem to be bananas and squash, though he's not picky. He also likes to lick Leo's fur, so I'm pretty sure that's the ultimate sign of a non-discerning palate.

It was a big month for Nathaniel - he started rolling over and then in short order also started crawling.  Nothing is safe from his reach now.  He is adorable.

His sleep is still hit or miss. It's improved slightly since it's lowest point, but he still is up twice most nights.  We're working on transitioning him to his crib instead of the Rock and Play next to our bed.

His favorite activities are bouncing, pulling my hair, and chasing his brother.  He also has a train he loves and his Baby Einstein turtle.

He laughs often and deeply. He is very ticklish.  He claps when he finds something amusing or that he wants to cheer for.  It is adorable.

He cut his first two teeth! It led to a couple miserable days and nights, but he bounced back quickly.

We love you, baby boy!

Nathaniel's 9 Month Update

My sweet little cutie turned 9 months on April 24th!

We had his 9 month appointment shortly after that, and he is healthy.  He weighs 18 pounds and is 27 inches long. That puts him in the 10th percentile for weight and the 2nd percentile for height. So when I say tiny, I'm not exaggerating!

Stickers are so tasty!

He still is wearing primarily 3-6 month clothes, though he can still wear some 0-3 clothes and we're starting to pull out some 6-9 month options as well.  He is still in either a size 2 or a size 3 diaper.
Funny face

He still drinks about 20-24 ounces of breastmilk a day, and we're working on increasing his solid food from once to twice a day. We have to go slowly though for the sake of his stomach.

He is SO CLOSE to rolling over!  I think once he gets it, crawling will soon follow.

His eyes are still a beautiful shade of blue.

His personality is sweet and friendly. He laughs easily - especially at Jeremiah! He's very ticklish.  He loves to play in his bouncer.

He doesn't have any teeth yet, but he's certainly working on it!  Everything goes straight to his mouth.

This last month, he had his first trip on an airplane as we went to Naples, Florida.  He did not like the beach or heat very much. :)

He's still waking up twice a night most nights.  We are hoping this will change soon too! :)

He is our precious little blessing from God, and I couldn't love him any more than I do.
Are you done yet, Mommy?
